A Golddigger's Birth

Met him on a Monday
Thought he was really cool
By Tuesday couldn't get him off her mind
Wondering if she's a fool
Wednesday he took her to the mall 
An impromptu shopping spree 
Thursday he's with another girl
Not even worried about who sees
Friday was full of excuses
But attitude was all he got
Saturday was filled with text messages 
Professing "Baby I love you a lot"
By Sunday she was back on point
Cause all feelings had passed
And when Monday came back around
Her aim was for his cash

Fickle Fortunes

It's lonely at the top
Money is bad company
I had the world when I had nothing
But someone to comfort me
But the situation changed
And I wonder why you're mad at me
Cause what we had was starting
To look just like a masterpiece
And if I'm wrong shoot me a note
To let me know you're coming home
Cause I refuse to ask someone I barely know
To come & keep me warm

His Rib

From our youth to the very end
Husband, wife, & bestfriends
He's by my side
I promised him I'd be there too
And that my love would stay true
So I'm forever by his side
Our bond will last an eternity
And forever we will always be.
He's my joy, my love, my pride
Like adam's rib, he makes me whole
& While posessing the key to my soul
He's standing by my side
I vow to give him all my love
Something he'll never get enough of
If he's by my side
Through thick and thin
Our love will win
When we're standing side by side
And when in doubt
I'll never be without
Him by my side
He gives me life

Still stuck in limbo
Somewhere where the pain goes
Right next to the love
And all the memories of..
Can't stand to look you in the eye
So I avoid you
While hearing you say how much
The distance is annoying you
Can't help but wonder now
If anything I did was brand new
And to be truly honest
I'm wondering what part was special
Because I Lived On Various Emotions Daily (LOVED)
with you
And I wanted it all... The good, the bad, the ugly
The rise & the fall
EvOl took it's toll
& no longer are you mine
But my heart is stuck in limbo

It's romance.

It's the emotions found dwelling in the depths of your soul

&& losing control

It's the let go, let God, faith, hope, & blind trust in us.

It's love.
