There are some things I must explain

Time Travelers
A praiseworthy reunion
But have we met before?
I'm caught up in the notion that
I've seen your soul before
Cant Imagine the when, where, or how
Because the story is so surreal
Nothing Greater than the here & now
And the familiarity I feel
I met you in another life
But what exactly does that mean?
Because I feel so bonded to you
It's like I'm stuck within a dream.
I know you like I know myself
Somewhere in the back of my mind
Which solidifies my feeling that
Our souls traveled through time
Best friends thru the movement
King and Queen of an empire
Husband and wife thru the struggle
Soaring spirits never to retire.
Can't help the way I feel

Time & Space
Feels like I'm racing with the clock
Fighting against time
And there's no room to look back
When your at the finish line.
But what's the cost for the madness?
Who do I lose in the end?
Who's strong enough to stick around?
Weed out the disloyalty in friends.
I'm torn between it all
This life and the next
What I want & what I need
Determining what's best
And the mayhem that exists
In the space between my temples
Is what keeps me disarrayed
Constantly questioning my mental
So when I seem so distant
Or lost in my own thoughts
It's because I care enough to know
Our bond cannot be lost
The ME that I have grown to be

A Love Letter...
My world gets stormy, lonely, confusing...I get emotional, bitchy, crazy...but you, you weather the storm, you overextend your companionship, & you help me to understand...even when I don't want to. Our relationship has been an intense rollercoaster ride thus far & sometimes I question if I'm really equipped to handle the ride. But during the intermissions, when the ride is calm & the breeze is softly blowing, I fall in love with the idea of you...of us. Are the rough times a prelude to what we would potentially look forward to? Or is it God's way of helping us get the kinks out now so that the rest of the ride is smooth sailing? All I know for sure is that the love i feel is pure & true. I can say this with the utmost certainty because I have, for the first time in my life, put all selfish wants aside with the hopes that you will see & experience everything you want to in this life...even if it doesn't include me. Although it hurts to do so at times, I'm content because it signifies a type of love I'm experiencing for the first time in all of my years....imagine the possibilities. I say all of this to convey a message to you...at times I may seem distant, upset, or uncaring but it's nothing more than a twisted manifest of what I may be feeling at the time. At the core of it all is a raw, pure, untainted love that doesn't flicker or fade. It's strong & resilient. So please, never forget I love you.

Like A God
He has the gift of insight
Because I swear he stares at my soul
Like it's a movie projector
And even through stormy weather
Somehow he knows…
He knows where I've been
And he knows where I need to go
Plus he's not afraid to follow
But in trust, I let him lead
Because his soul softly whispers
To me, secrets of eternity
His regal splendor stops my breath
And in the moment I pray
It isn't over yet
And everyday is the same
My heart flutters whenever

Seeming more like a God

A Golddigger's Birth
Met him on a Monday
Thought he was really cool
By Tuesday couldn't get him off her mind
Wondering if she's a fool
Wednesday he took her to the mall
An impromptu shopping spree
Thursday he's with another girl
Not even worried about who sees
Friday was full of excuses
But attitude was all he got
Saturday was filled with text messages
Professing "Baby I love you a lot"
By Sunday she was back on point

And when Monday came back around

His Rib
From our youth to the very end
Husband, wife, & bestfriends
He's by my side
I promised him I'd be there too
And that my love would stay true
So I'm forever by his side
Our bond will last an eternity
And forever we will always be.
He's my joy, my love, my pride
Like adam's rib, he makes me whole
& While posessing the key to my soul
He's standing by my side

The distance is annoying you

A love letter from Winter..
Dear summer, it's a cold cold world where I'm coming from
& I'm just trying to get to you so I can see the sun
I know I should be use to the idea of the cold weather
But honestly speaking, I think we belong together
